Hello, I’m Frances.

I help businesses to Analyse, plan and Implement change and Transformation.

PHILOSOPHY

Focus.

With focus, intensity and effort, serious problems can be solved, visionary ambitions can be fulfilled and progress can be accomplished.

A plan beats no plan - every, single, time.

Planning imposes order on the chaotic process of changing or doing something new. It transforms vague intentions into concrete steps. It helps us anticipate challenges, allocate resources wisely, and stay focused on what matters. Even when circumstances shift—and they often do—a well-thought-out plan gives us something to adapt, rather than forcing us to start from scratch.

Yes, plans evolve, but planning itself is invaluable and prepares us for the road ahead.

Time spent planning is an investment that pays dividends in confidence and results.

Eye for the why.

Every change, every decision, every goal — they all exist for a reason.

Whether leading a change initiative or supporting a business through growth, I never stop asking why. Why are we doing this? Why now? Why this way? Knowing why motivates both me and the leaders and teams I work with.

In change work, I focus on the business outcome, not just the deliverables.

In everyday business, I dig. I ask questions others might avoid. I challenge assumptions. I help people reconnect with the purpose behind their plans — whether it’s launching a new service, shifting strategy, or simply saying “we’ve always done it this way.”

The goal is achieving meaningful outcomes over simply delivering outputs.

Details matter.

Small details have special talents to create big problems and can easily railroad budgets, timelines, scope or quality. Balance attention to detail with an eagle’s point of view for optimum delivery.

Plan that reflects the whole reality

Too often, planning is just performance — a quick sketch of timelines that are aspirational, not achieveable. I don’t do that. I believe planning should be honest. Grounded. Thoughtful. I take the time to understand what a job actually takes — not just what we hope it might take if everything goes swimmingly (which it rarely does).

When we work together, you’ll get timelines that have unearthed the assumptions and dependencies, sequenced tasks properly, and made room for risks, and contingency for the unexpected.

Through this, delivering change is calmer, with work that’s done right, not rushed.

Manage both Change and Transition.

Change is fast, transition is slow. Acknowledging the transition that people experience during change is key to successfully realising benefits, mitigating the risks of change and sustaining it long-term.

Create conditions for success.

Change is a team effort.

To me, leading change means empowering and serving the multidisciplinary teams who are making it happen. My role is to enable and amplify the people working on it and through it by deliberately creating and fiercely protecting the right environment and conditions for success:

  • Protecting momentum, keeping progress steady and focused.

  • Sustaining communication channels.

  • Championing excellence by setting high standards and celebrating achievements.

  • Removing roadblocks so teams can move forward.

  • Coalescing knowledge – insights, people, and ideas - to accelerate learning and innovation.

Creative.

Change, innovation and any stripe of entrepreneurship requires imagination; to see and bring to life that which does not yet exist. I combine the discipline and rigour of conventional PM’ing with the flexibility and willingness to address unknowns with unconventional, uncharted, or untested methods to get the best result.

EXPERTISE

Complex project management

The sheer magnitude of the challenge ahead, the uncertainty of where to start - these stressors can prevent projects getting off the ground, lead them to amble off course, or cause them to fizzle out.

I bring project expertise to help resolve the complexity of delivery and chart a course of action towards a finish line, no matter how uncertain, far away, or full of obstacles that may be.

Various methodologies applied and tailored to the client, circumstance and type of project.

Project delivery functioning

Clients expect timely delivery. Failure to meet these expectations can lead to dissatisfaction, strained relationships, and potential loss of future business. Client-facing projects that run over time or budget erode profit margins, drain internal resources, and undermine a team’s confidence, momentum and sense of achievement.

This is where project thinking meets operational process.

I can help businesses get their project delivery mechanisms in order through project process development, mentoring team members, or project assurance, creating reliable and flexible frameworks that help them deliver fee-earning work time and time again, consistently and profitably.

Business change

Change of any sort can be unsettling for an organisation. But since today’s business environment regularly confronts new market trends and technological advancements, firms need to frequently revisit processes, skillsets, tools, and culture, and become adept at changing from the inside in line with the volatility of the outside.

I strengthen investment in change by not only planning how to deliver it, but also how to sustain it long-term.

Strategy implementation

Strategic thinking generates ambitious ideas and bold visions but all the benefit lies in the execution.

I can help businesses get strategy implemented by identifying worthy initiatives through effective analysis, prioritisation, outlining resources, and setting up structures that sustain the momentum to deliver.
